286Ciclo negativo

mente e sociedade

Você já deve ter entrado num ciclo negativo em algum momento da sua vida. Há chances de que você esteja nele agora mesmo! Mas não se preocupe, tudo tem uma solução nessa vida, menos para a morte (ainda). Um ciclo negativo funciona da…

About

The same curiosity that studies systems also keeps trying to turn feeling into form.

Alisson David Frangullys is a Brazilian-born builder from Curitiba, now based in Richmond, Virginia. Engineering school, software, games, and Portuguese writing all feed the same habit: understand the system, then make something real with it.

His public work splits into two linked identities: davidluky for projects, code, and tools; @alisson_frangullys for the person behind the experiments, study notes, and daily life.

He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2022 after studying electrical engineering and physics, with an earlier chapter at UTFPR in Curitiba. That training still shapes the work: measure the constraints, learn the moving parts, and ship the usable version.

Games were the doorway. Tibia, Steam, The Room, and AI game experiments became a long study of systems, communities, economies, and why digital worlds feel alive.

Writing keeps the other half visible. Textosdi.versos turns private feeling into a public discipline: original Portuguese texts, fragments, and attempts to give shape to what code cannot say cleanly.

Timeline

Engineer-minded developer building games, web tools, automation, and Portuguese writing.

  1. 2009

    Games Became Systems

Steam, Tibia, and online communities turned games from entertainment into systems worth studying.

  2. 2014

    UTFPR and Code

A Curitiba chapter at UTFPR sat beside the curiosity that moved from playing systems to building scripts, tools, and early experiments.

  3. 2017–2022

    VCU Engineering

Studied electrical engineering and physics at Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating with the class of 2022.

  4. 2022

    VR/AR Capstone

Worked on a K-12 educational VR/AR engineering project, connecting technical systems with learning.

  5. 2023

    Richmond Chapter

Built life and work in Richmond, Virginia, carrying the same Brazilian voice into a new context.

  6. 2024

    The Room Goes Web

Expanded the long-running RPG project into a React web client with Firebase.

  7. 2026

    Portfolio of Systems

Math practice, AI/game experiments, automation, mobile work, and public writing all became part of the same body of work.

  8. 2026

    Maker Turn

Planned and printed a modular kumiko-style wall panel on a Bambu Lab P1S, the first structured 3D-print build from BOM to wall mount.

  9. Now

    Textosdi.versos

A public Portuguese writing practice for original texts, fragments, and verses.

A personal portrait for the person behind davidluky. I turn long-running curiosities into usable systems: RPG clients, productivity tools, AI experiments, and public writing with a human signal still inside it.

Work

Values

I like understanding a system deeply enough to make it useful, playable, or honest enough to share.

  • I

    Understand before performing.

Engineering, physics, games, and code reward the same patience: learn the system well enough that the work can survive contact with reality.

  • II

    Make the private thing shareable.

A project often starts as a personal itch: a problem that keeps returning, a game I wish existed, or a sentence that will not leave me alone. The work is giving it a form someone else can enter.

  • III

    Keep both sides alive.

The best version of my work keeps the system clear and the human signal intact.

    • Writing

Essa ideia que temos de perfeição é pura ilusão – e ninguém chega nela sem começar a dar os primeiros passos tortos.
